How does BeSync respond to a cyberattack or security incident?
Security-relevant events are continuously monitored via EDR. With the Enterprise package, this monitoring is carried out around the clock by our Security Operations Center. In the event of an incident, a clearly defined incident response process takes effect: threats are isolated, analysed and resolved. The aim is to limit the impact as quickly as possible and get to the root cause sustainably. In a worst-case scenario, we also support you with recovery from backup.
What is the difference between the Managed Security packages?
Managed Security is modular in structure. The basic package covers EDR, automated patch management and regular vulnerability scans. The Enterprise package supplements this with a 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) and Managed Detection & Response – for companies with heightened protection needs or regulatory requirements. Security awareness training with phishing simulations can be booked separately as an add-on.
What is Vulnerability Management?
Vulnerability Management means identifying, assessing and specifically closing security gaps in IT systems at an early stage. BeSync continuously scans endpoints, servers and systems for known vulnerabilities, analyses the risks and prioritises the necessary measures. For this, we work together with Lywand and use their platform for our Vulnerability Management. This way, you continuously reduce your cyber risk before vulnerabilities turn into real incidents.
What is Security Awareness Training?
Security Awareness Training trains employees to recognise cyber threats such as fraudulent emails, social engineering or unsafe behaviours at an early stage. BeSync raises your team's awareness with interactive learning modules and practice-oriented content, thereby strengthening your company's security culture as well as its first line of defence. For this, we work together with Hornetsecurity and use their security awareness solution.
What is a Phishing Simulation?
A Phishing Simulation is a controlled exercise in which employees are confronted with realistic but harmless test emails. This reveals how well potential fraud attempts are recognised and where additional training is needed. BeSync supports the evaluation and derives targeted improvements for your company from it. The simulations are part of the Security Awareness Training from Hornetsecurity, which BeSync uses to raise your employees' awareness.
